Luckily my friend in Paris recommended G7 taxi app because you can ask for a car with a booster or car seat which it’s hard to do with Uber. To my delight using ordering the taxi which we did multiple times was so easy and convenient because you put your card info and it makes a contactless payment and tipping a breeze. ALL of the drivers were so nice and some even spoke English. The metro is nice when you have no luggage but it also can be overwhelming and not necessarily working all the time 🤣Anyway, I’m super happy I used G7! Now if you are at Orly airport usually the driver will come inside the door you agree on the app and pick you up there so don’t try to walk by yourself trying to find him 🤣 like I did one time. For Charles de Gaulle our driver waited for us at the bottom parking directly under the terminal door you agree to. So don’t just walk outside to wait for him. Rather read if it says “professional parking” it’s downstairs bottom parking because it’s easier and more convenient for both. Essential app for traveling in Paris Love G7 and this app. The ability to reserve wheelchair accessible taxis through the app is fantastic. I no longer rent cars in Paris, and use G7 instead. Only wish it was possible to request wheelchair accessible taxis AND English speaking drivers. It’s currently one or the other. Scammers - Slower routes to hike meter. I used this based on google search for recommended driver app in Paris. After using it a few times had to switch to a set rate ride share app. First 3 rides I noticed them taking a heavy traffic route even though google maps recommended a faster route. This allowed the to run up. The incident that made me write this review was a driver saying they were at my location to pick me up when it showed them clear 3 min away at the wrong spot. If I can see them on the app they can clearly see me and that they are not at the location. Was charged €11 euro even though the driver was not there.
